Once we’ve received your application, we’ll send you an email inviting to take part in an interview with a tutor and find out more about the subjects. This will take place by telephone or in person and is a very informal chat to help decide which is the right course for you and a chance for you to get to know your future tutors. As long as they have all of the information they need, the tutor will confirm which course you will be offered during your interview.
We make two different types of offer, depending on what qualifications you hold:
If you are still studying, you will receive an offer for the course that is conditional on you achieving certain results; this will normally be based on your GCSE results. This means you will need to enrol when you get your results in August. Nearer the time, we will write to you to invite you in to do this.
If you already have the qualifications needed for entry on to the course, your offer will be unconditional and your place on the course is secure, as long as you enrol with us. Enrolment will normally take place via an online form and we will contact you about this around June time.
Start with us
To help you prepare to start your course you’ll be invited to attend a Discover Day and a New Starter Day, both of which will help you learn more about the A-levels available and studying at Sixth Form. In August you will receive information about how to book your place at and enrolment event. If you do not enrol we cannot guarantee your place with us. You will then start your course in early September.
